Victorian Farmer magazine to be published by Intermedia

The Intermedia Group has been appointed to publish Victorian Farmer magazine, a quarterly title produced on behalf of the Victorian Farmers Federation.

Victorian Farmer magazine was previously published internally by the association.

“The Victorian Farmer provides farmers in this important rural region with crucial insight into farming issues, agricultural innovation, best business practices as well as profiles of farmers from Victoria,” said Intermedia Group Publisher and Head of Custom James Wells.

Victorian Farmer magazine is the latest agricultural and rural custom publishing product to be produced by The Intermedia Group this year, after being appointed to publish The Farmer for NSW Farmers earlier this year

In addition to The Farmer magazine, The Intermedia Group also manages and produces content for The Farmer website and The Muster digital newsletter.

Michelle Hespe, who has 25 years of experience in publishing on custom, B2B and consumer titles, has been appointed as the Editor of the Victorian Farmer magazine. She is also Editor of The Farmer magazine for NSW Farmers.

Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF) Chief Executive Officer Stephen Sheridan said the organisation was excited to partner with the Intermedia Group, as the company understands the important role the VFF has as the voice of Victorian farmers.

“The Victorian Farmers Federation has been the voice of Victorian farmers since 1979 and is one of Australia’s leading farm advocacy lobby groups,” he said.

“We’re excited to be working with the Intermedia Group on the next chapter of the Victorian Farmer, our premier hard copy publication for VFF members. It’s a part of the fabric of the farming community and an important platform to tell the story of Victorian farmers,” said Sheridan.

With the addition of Victorian Farmer magazine, The Intermedia Group will now publish 31 magazines and 35 digital mastheads in addition to running numerous face-to-face events including awards, seminars, conferences and exhibitions.
