B2B publisher Decisive Publishing has appointed Simon Dux to be the new Editor of premium daily telecom industry e-newsletter Communications Day Australasia (CommsDay).

Simon Dux will begin the appointment next week, with outgoing Editor Geoff Long leaving to take up a senior public affairs role with the Royal Australian Navy.

Dux has experience in telecommunications journalism and has held a variety of communications roles, primarily in the UK. He was Executive Editor of Total Telecom and edited British telecoms magazine Communicate.

Established in 1994, CommsDay covers Australian and New Zealand telecom industry news and commentary. It has published over 6,000 issues sent to a paying subscriber base. Annual subscription packages start at $1,547 + GST, and the company says that daily readership exceeds 7,000 readers.
