Universal Media Co (Umco) has appointed Chris Williams as New South Wales Advertising Manager of its Grand Designs Australia and Home Design brands.
Chris Williams was previously Australian BD at Nine Media Group’s Stuff.
Publisher Janice Williams said Umco is experiencing increasing demand for its range of home category solutions, and is thrilled to bring someone with Chris’s experience and reputation into the business.
Home Design magazine is designed to be a project research tool for anyone with an interior or renovation project. In the latest Roy Morgan readership poll, it reached 120,000 readers, bolstered by a savvy distribution tactic.
Aligned with the TV show, Grand Designs Australia magazine targets upmarket consumers with big spending power who are looking to build a home project, and reaches 249,000 readers.
Williams will be based in Sydney.
Umco publishes 53 niche magazine brands including special interest and B2B titles, 14 of which are in the ‘home and outdoor’ niche.
